Frostborn Ridge

Frostborn Ridge is a precision platformer created for the Pirate Software's 10th Game Jam. You can learn more about the event and game development in general here: https://develop.games/gamejam/

The theme was "Nothing Is Explained" which also included the controls specific uses. Since that has concluded here are the controls:
Arrow Keys - general movement
Z - wall grabbing
Z + arrow keys - wall climbing
C - Jump (when sliding on wall this jumps off of wall at a 45, or straight up if up is held while grabbing onto wall)
Z - Dash (unlocked by eating the purple squid. This is 8 directional, just like celeste)

Unfortunately, controller support and keymapping was out of scope so I wasn't able to get it implemented in time for this project, but both will be available in the demo.

Other information about this project: 
- This was made by one person in the span of a week
- Feedback is carefully considered and definitely appreciated
- I have taken in a lot of feedback and am currently working on a demo with a tentative release of spring 2023. It will be available on both itch.io and steam for free. Depending on how feedback for that goes I may continue working on it for a full commercial release. Please look forward to "Oriana and the Ravenous Hallows"
